1.What does Golden Eye do ?

Golden Eye  is designed to  monitor and record all the activity on your computer. With Golden Eye you can easily know how your PC is being used or what is being done on your PC.

Golden Eye works like a surveillance camera pointed directly at your computer monitor, monitoring and recording  anything anybody does on your computer, and storing this in a secure area for your later review.

3.   How do I start monitoring ? 

Click the Invisible Mode button on the main screen of Golden Eye, if it's available.
Golden Eye will automatically start monitoring next time when Windows restarts or Golden Eye starts.

If you want to start monitoring  immediately, just click the Start button on the bottom of the main screen,  and if you also want it invisible, click the Hide button, after dong that, you can only show the Golden Eye screen by pressing the hotkey your specified , if you haven't specified the hotkey, the default hotkey is Ctrl+Alt+Shift+P

4. How much disk space will it take in monitoring? 

If you are using the default settings , that is :
(1) take screenshot every 2 minutes
(2)the screenshot picture quality is 50%
(3)Take screenshot of full screen 

It will take 3.2 M of disk space for 1 hour of monitoring.
and 25M of disk space for every 8 hours of monitoring.
and 125M of disk space for a week (5x8=40 hours)

5.   I want to monitor another computer on the same office network, but I don't want to see the results on that computer, how can I do that ? 

Follow the below instructions

On the computer you want to monitor

(1) Install Golden Eye in that computer you want to monitor, if you have puarchased enough licenses.
(2) Click Invisible Mode on the main screen of Golden Eye, lets it start monitoring next time and can not be detected by the users
(3) On the Options screen, click the Browse button, choose the path on your computer as the Log File Path
(4) Click Start and then Click Hide to start monitoring in stealth 

On you own computer

(1) Start Golden Eye , click the Stop button if it on monitoring
(2) On the Options screen, click the Browse button, choose the path your selected above as your Log File Path
(3) Now, you can click the Report tab to view the report or click Report Output to generate an HTML report

This error happens with Win95 users, because Win 95 don't have a MSVBVM60.DLL.

After downloading , click on this file to install it and then you can run Golden Eye.

10.What is the default password?

The default password is NULL, if you enable the Password Protection and do not specify your password, the password is NULL,  when Golden Eye ask for the password, just click OK or press Enter.

11.How do I monitor other user in windows XP ?

If Golden Eye has not monitor other user account such as Limited account user, please follow below steps:
1.Show Golden Eye main screen, click Option tab.
2.In Log Files frame, click the XP Option button, then click yes.

12.Why does Golden Eye not record MSN Messenger chat contents  ?

Open MSN Messenger, chat with others , then close the chat window.
Golden Eye will record the previous chat contents when you close the window
In other words,Golden Eye record the chat contents after you close chat window,instead of real time record.
